Koins

A "Koin", as they’re known by the friendly nickname they merited on our planet, is a mystic alien NFT being. They are kind and joyous, and have a natural urge to compete in races with each other!

All koins have a need for speed. Their minds are always on the track and it’s your duty as an owner to make them run so they’re happy. If they win, you win too!

My Role

Koins is a game and multimedia company that allows users to purchase and race koi fish-inspired NFTs, providing an opportunity to earn money through digital investments. During my internship with the company, I worked closely with the design team to develop the story and gameplay behind the fish used in the game. My responsibilities included designing parts of the script and character designs while also serving as a full-time translator for both the website and the game itself; my role in this company is what secured my drive to work as a narrative designer, it was my first chance at being part of a new story and leaving my mark no matter how small. The tools utilized in this project included Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, and Google Meetings.
